Crohn's is an inflammatory bowel disease that can affect any part of the GI tract, most often the end of the small intestine. It cycles between flares and remission, and can involve strictures, fistulas, and nutrient malabsorption. I have Crohn's myself — it's the reason I do this work.
I combine a working command of conventional IBD pharmacology with the full naturopathic toolkit — targeted testing, Western and Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional therapy, and microbiome treatment. I work alongside your gastroenterologist, monitor objective markers like calprotectin, and teach this exact approach to other physicians in my Mastering IBD course.
New patient visits in person in Portland or by telehealth. I've spent 18 years on complex GI cases — including my own.
